NyPa Australia Ltd. is an unlisted public company that was formed in 1993 to import and evaluate certain productive cultivars of the halophyte (salt loving) species Distichlis spp. that have been collected and bred from plants collected throughout the north and central American continent. The NyPa range of plants is marketed through a joint venture "salt solutions" with Elders Ltd.
